Job Description
BlackRock is seeking an Associate, Implementation Consultant to join the Aladdin implementation group, responsible for installing and deploying Aladdin and related products globally. The role will involve collaborating with clients to identify requirements, create tailored solutions, and provide continuous assistance. Key responsibilities include understanding client objectives, leading implementation lifecycle, coordinating client specific investment accounting configuration, and developing project plans.
Requirements
- 3-7 years of work experience in consulting, software implementation or investment/performance accounting implementations
- Strong knowledge of investment accounting principles and practices
- Well-organized with the ability to manage priorities effectively
- Client-focused with a passion for providing high-quality service
- Experience with investment accounting standards (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS) as they pertain to investment accounting
- Experience with fund performance and Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Project management experience (e.g., PMP)
- CPA or CFA certification
- SQL, Python and command-line programming experience
- Big 4 consulting firm experience
- Fluency in both Japanese and Korea is desirable, and business proficiency in English
