Job Description
BlackRock is seeking a Quantitative Researcher to join its Systematic Active Equity (SAE) group. The role involves researching investment ideas and strategies, and onboarding and managing data in an effective way. The team is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in quantitative disciplines and experience working with data and conducting empirical research. Requirements
- 2+ years of work experience in the financial domain
- A Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in a quantitative discipline
- Experience working with data and/or conducting empirical research utilizing large, complex data sets
- Financial market experience: asset pricing, portfolio optimization, macroeconomics, global stock selection, or a similar relevant field
- Familiarity with natural language processing, machine learning, and/or artificial intelligence
- Strong programming skills
