Job Description
The Vice President, Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis role serves as a senior FP&A partner to BlackRock's Active Fixed Income platform, leading multi-year planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives that support business growth and performance. This is a high-visibility opportunity for a strategic finance professional seeking to work closely with senior leaders and influence the direction and performance of one of BlackRock's most important investment platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred
- 7–10+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related field, preferably within asset management or broader financial services
- Strong interest in markets and investing, with Fixed Income knowledge or experience preferred
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and influence senior stakeholders through written materials, presentations, and verbal communication
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects and driving outcomes in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to decompose complex issues and develop practical, high-impact solutions
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and automation to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance business processes
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required; familiarity with IBM Planning Analytics and Microsoft Power BI is a plus
