BlockTech is a fast-paced algorithmic trading firm looking for a Quantitative Trader to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a Quantitative Trader and/or Quantitative Researcher, with excellent numerical and analytical skills and a strong trading intuition.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Quantitative Trader and/or Quantitative Researcher in a professional trading environment
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with strong trading intuition
- Demonstrated PnL responsibility and a proven track record trading linear (Delta1) products across multiple venues
- Strong understanding of market microstructure, including order books, liquidity dynamics, execution costs, and latency trade-offs
- Hands-on experience with automated and semi-automated trading systems, including monitoring, tuning, and intervention under live market conditions
- Ability to analyze strategy performance using data and translate insights into concrete trading or execution improvements
- Proficient in Python for analysis, tooling, and interaction with trading systems
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, high-responsibility environments where decisions have immediate financial impact
- Ownership mindset: proactive, accountable, and comfortable taking initiative rather than waiting for direction
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers, engineers, and fellow traders
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
