Job Description
Blommer is looking for a motivated and reliable Maintenance Mechanic to conduct troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance services to equipment throughout the plant. The ideal candidate will have three years of experience in production machine repair, shop tools and welding experience.
Requirements
- Comply with all legislated and relevant laws and regulations for safety and quality
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Perform duties as assigned
- Troubleshoot and repair packaging and production machines
- Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
- Assemble modified and new equipment for operation
- Fabricate repair parts to maintain existing equipment or make approved modifications
- Report equipment parts usage from stock to ensure accurate inventory
