Bloom Energy is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems. The intern will work on projects that include design and fabrication of manufacturing tooling and fixtures, sustainability metrics ownership, and manufacturing process improvements.
Requirements
- Currently a student earning a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Must be graduating between May 2026 and August 2027.
- Working knowledge of PC business software applications (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Highly motivated and a self-starter
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Must demonstrate a bias for action and implementation
- Proven and demonstrated teamwork skills
- Focus on working with cross-functional teams
- Experience with leveraging spreadsheets, systems, and processes to complete tasks.
- Experience with creating 3D designs and drawings using dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Experience with SolidWorks preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with robotics/automation preferred.
