Senior Principal Network Engineer

Bloom Energy is looking for a Senior Principal Network Engineer to join its world-class team. The ideal candidate should have high-level expertise in network routing, Multicast, Anycast, VLANs, MPLS, and other areas, with strong leadership and technical skills.

Requirements

• Define and execute the organization's network strategy
• Lead and mentor a team of network engineers
• Develop and enforce network policies
• Design, deployment, and maintenance of LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Wireless, and data centre networks
• Ensure optimal network performance, reliability, and scalability
• Implement robust network monitoring, fault management, and disaster recovery mechanisms
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to safeguard the network
• Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and secure remote access solutions
• Continuously evaluate network performance and recommend enhancements
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies
• Drive network automation, orchestration, and AI-based performance optimization initiatives
