Job Description
Join Bloomberg's Financial Regulatory legal team as an Associate Financial Regulatory Counsel based in New York. You'll provide legal advice and support for regulated businesses, draft and negotiate agreements, and help implement change to U.S., UK, EU, and international securities and derivatives laws and financial regulation. You'll work closely with senior business people, other legal counsel, and key support functions to deliver first-class advice and execution.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years at a top tier international law firm and/or in-house legal department of a multinational company, focused on financial regulatory matters
- Knowledge of regulatory issues relevant to SEC-registered broker-dealers and regulated trading infrastructure
- Expertise in securities/derivatives regulations
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to thrive in an open office environment
