Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in Japanese-language journalism, including reporting and editing for publication
• Demonstrated ability to propose and develop strong story angles, working with reporters to turn complex policy issues into compelling news
• Strong editing skills with a clear understanding of audience interests and how to package news effectively
