The ideal candidate will have excellent picture judgment, creative eye, and strong editorial skills to join the Visual Media Team. The role involves identifying, conceiving, and delivering competitive news images for Bloomberg's multiple platforms and global clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years relevant photo editing experience in a news environment
- Advanced experience with image editing tools (Photoshop, Photo Mechanic, FTP, and CMS/DAM publishing systems)
- High level of interest and awareness of current affairs affecting global markets, economics, geopolitics, companies, government policy, business, and finance
- Excellent verbal and proven written communication skills
- Experience in assigning and managing photographers in the field
- Ability to research, select, and attach imagery to stories
- Experience with multimedia storytelling and video editing skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
