Senior Software Engineer - AI Assistant

Bloomberg Law is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - AI Assistant to join their Core Experience team. The team aims to craft seamless and innovative experiences that empower users across the BLAW/BGOV/BTAX suite of products. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in software development and a strong understanding of modern frontend frameworks, distributed systems, and AI/ML-powered applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years working experience in either Java, Python, C++, or any other object-oriented language
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study, or equivalent work experience
• Strong software development fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design basics
• Experience building and maintaining production systems
• Great collaboration skills in a team environment, and a willingness to help and receive help from others
