Job Description
Senior Software Engineer - Real-time Data role at Bloomberg, responsible for designing and building services and APIs with in-house and open source technologies, collaborating with various groups to drive solutions to completion.
Requirements
- 4+ years working with an object-oriented programming language
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar field
- Background in building reliable, well-tested software for production systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Experience with observability tools like Grafana and OpenTelemetry (desired)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (desired)
- Experience with Linux environment and system administration (desired)
- Open-source contributions or participation in technical communities (desired)
