General Manager, Cultural Policies & Strategy Commission // Government Entity

To lead and coordinate strategic alignment and decision support functions across the entity and the cultural sector.

Requirements

• Provide strategic advisory support to the Ministry and the cultural sector on matters related to cultural strategies, policies, and delegated tasks.
• Lead strategic alignment efforts with cultural entities and internal/external stakeholders to ensure consistency of vision and initiatives with Ministry priorities.
• Represent the agency in committees, working groups, and forums within the cultural sector, and manage those chaired by the agency in line with the approved governance model.
• Monitor and assess current and emerging issues to analyze their potential impact on cultural strategies and provide actionable recommendations.
• Lead the development of annual plans and budget estimates for the agency and cultural sector in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Unify initiatives, proposals, and strategic outputs and prepare executive-level presentations that support leadership decision-making.
• Analyze and align the outputs of external entities that have a direct or indirect impact on cultural strategies and policies.
• Support decision-making processes by reviewing and analyzing reports, documents, and studies submitted by Ministry units and cultural commissions.
• Conduct advanced data analysis and insights generation using modern tools and methodologies to produce high-quality strategic reports.
• Manage data collection processes from internal and external stakeholders and ensure the archiving of relevant documents and studies.
• Regularly analyze cultural sector indicators and trends to monitor national and global cultural developments.
