Lead - Apigee

Blue Altair is an innovative, industry-recognized consulting firm that leverages transformative technologies to enable AI and drive digital success for its clients. We are looking for a Lead - Apigee to join our team in Mumbai, India.

Requirements

• Architect, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure APIs using Apigee Edge, Apigee X and Apigee Hybrid platforms.
• Lead API lifecycle management including API productization, versioning, governance, and developer portal integration.
• Implement and enforce API security measures such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, API key validation, threat protection and access control.
• Design and configure API gateways, proxies, policies, shared flows, traffic management (quotas, spike arrest), caching, and mediation.
• Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, backend teams, and DevOps to ensure seamless API integration with microservices and backend systems.
• Drive CI/CD automation for API deployments and configuration using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, performance-tune APIs, and respond to production escalations with root cause analysis.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to mid and junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Maintain API documentation and best practice guides for internal and external stakeholders.
