Sr. Data Governance (INDM)

Blue Altair is seeking a Sr. Data Governance professional to lead the development, implementation, and enhancement of our data governance framework. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in data quality, metadata management, and compliance, coupled with the ability to collaborate across business and technology teams to drive governance maturity across the organization.

Requirements

• Design, implement, and oversee data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices across business units.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship models, and accountability structures.
• Establish and track key data governance KPIs, integrate dashboards, and provide actionable insights and reports for leadership.
• Maintain and enhance data lineage, metadata, and master data management (MDM) processes and repositories.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, or other data privacy mandates).
• Partner with business and IT teams to embed governance practices into data projects and transformation initiatives.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on governance standards, data policies, and operational execution.
• Contribute to the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or Alation.
• Drive continuous improvement in data governance capabilities through proactive process enhancements and stakeholder engagement.
