Job Description
Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi is seeking a Health Systems Application Programmer to join their team. The position involves gaining in-depth knowledge of the company's tools and techniques, participating in ideation and discovery sessions, and developing clinical data integrations and APIs. The role requires a strong foundation in computer science, programming languages, and software development methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Exposure to programming using Java or other languages, JSON and web services (SOAP, Restful, Microservices)
- Exposure to developing queries for databases such as SQL Server and DB2
- Familiarity with software development software lifecycle methodologies
- Strong documentation skills
