Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Systems Programmer to join our team at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of IBM mainframe O/S System Programming experience and knowledge of DB2 in a Mainframe environment.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
- At least 10 years of IBM mainframe O/S System Programming experience
- Systems Programming experience with DB2 in a Mainframe environment preferred
- Experience in Storage Administration
- Experience in IOCP/HCD Administration
- Experience in Security Administration preferred
- Knowledge of IBM operating system problem determination and resolution support utility programs
- Experience performing system and application problem determination and resolution
- Experience using SMP/E to install operating systems and program products and required maintenance
- Proficient in MS Office products
- z/VM experience preferred
