Technician

Blue Current is seeking a hands-on Technician to support daily operations in its solid-state battery R&D and prototyping labs. The ideal candidate has practical experience in technical or manufacturing environments and is comfortable working with precision processes, equipment, and documentation.

Requirements

• Prepare and assemble key materials for R&D battery fabrication
• Operate and support equipment used in fabrication and assembly processes
• Identify and communicate issues with materials, equipment, or processes
• Manage inventory of consumables and materials
• Set up test fixtures, load/unload cells, perform tests, and ensure proper test configuration and documentation
• Follow work orders, SOPs, and documentation protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of common lab spaces
• Participate in cross-training to build versatility across multiple battery fabrication steps
• Communicate effectively across shifts and with cross-functional teams
• Perform other duties as assigned
