Blue Origin is looking for an Avionics Hardware Design Engineer II to support the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle. The engineer will design, develop, and qualify mission-critical avionics hardware, enabling reliable and reusable spaceflight.
Requirements
- Lead detailed hardware designs for mission critical hardware systems
- Development, implementation, and ownership of test procedures
- Collaboration with production, test, manufacturing engineers to incorporate Design for X concepts into engineering drawings
- Partnership with production engineering to develop and support sustaining engineering plans and procedures
- Collaborate on the implementation of the software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop testing, on-vehicle functional testing and flight-testing for multiple vehicles
