Backend Software Engineer II – Supply Chain & Operations

As a Backend Software Engineer II, you will contribute to the design and development of robust API infrastructure and platform services for the Operations Technology Platform team. This role supports our platform engineering mission, where your work will help enable teams across Blue Origin to build scalable systems and applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience developing software systems in production environments
• Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Java, Python, or Go
• Familiarity with database design and data persistence patterns
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Understanding of API design and RESTful service principles
