Director of Avionics, Mk1 Lunar Lander

Blue Origin seeks a Director of Avionics, Mk1 Lunar Lander to manage a team to integrate and deliver avionics for the Blue Moon MK1 Lander, including the C&DH, EPS, RF Communications, and Harness subsystems. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of managing technical teams and/or leading functional groups with responsibility for leading and coaching employees, as well as 8+ years of relevant experience in the full lifecycle development of aerospace systems.

Requirements

• Define, own, and control the C&DH, EPS, RF communications, and Harness technical baseline, performing technical work and providing technical leadership of the highest caliber.
• Manage a team of engineers to specify, design, analyze, manufacture, integrate, test, and deliver hardware and software components that satisfy mission objectives while balancing cost, schedule, and risk.
• Manage external procurements and internal hardware dependencies required to meet subsystem deliveries.
