Engines: Materials and Processes Engineer I - Early Career (2026 Starts)

Join Blue Origin's team of problem solvers to work on the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of engines and propulsion systems for commercial, civil, national security, and human spaceflight. We are hiring multiple early career Engines M&P engineering roles with specialized focus in special processes, welding/joining, additive manufacture, metallurgy, casting/forging, sealing and more.

Requirements

• Develop and qualify materials and processes for liquid rocket engine applications
• Work with design, manufacturing and process engineers to implement and optimize materials for performance and cost
• Identify and apply mature state-of-the-art processes to manufacturing and develop process control documentation and quality assurance measure
• Develop materials test plans process and materials evaluation/qualification
• Own process and repair qualification across the development and production lifecycle
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for special processes
• Support day-to-day manufacturing through non-conformance disposition, manufacturing floor support, etc.
