Manual GTAW Welder - C Shift

Blue Origin is seeking a Manual GTAW Welder to join their team. The role requires 3+ years of experience in GTAW welding in an aerospace or precision manufacturing production environment. The ideal candidate will have leadership skills, commitment to quality, and a passion for safe human spaceflight.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience GTAW welding in an aerospace or precision manufacturing production environment
• Proficient in using Microsoft office suite applications
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and technical work instructions
• Self-sufficient, self-starter and driven
• Must be able to author/Develop weld schedules that meet AWS D17.1 Class A inspections requirements
• Familiar with all types of Non-Destructive testing and quality policies
• Experience in using automated welding equipment
• Experience GTAW aluminum welding
• Substantial ability using hand tools and precision measuring equipment
• Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50lbs
• Must be able to pass a practical Weld Test (1F, 3F, 2G, 3G and 6G)
