Principal Constellation Technical Lead, pLEO Systems

At Blue Origin, we're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. We're seeking an experienced Principal Constellation Technical Lead to lead architecture, capture, development, and execution of proliferated Low Earth Orbit (pLEO) constellation programs for commercial customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field
• 10+ years of experience in satellite systems engineering with progressive leadership responsibilities
• Experience with commercial satellite constellation architecture, design, and deployment
• Demonstrated experience in technical proposal development and customer engagement for commercial space programs
• Strong understanding of constellation-level design considerations including orbital mechanics, coverage analysis, and system-of-systems engineering
• Experience leading technical teams through complex constellation development lifecycles
