Production Scheduler/Planner role at Blue Origin, responsible for creating and analyzing production schedules using industry standard software, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring work is efficiently planned with all risks identified.
Requirements
- Develops the production schedule and manufacturing plan based on program schedule, customer ask date, labor, and machine resource availability, and expected make/buy part availability lead time.
- Manages production schedules for multiple programs.
- Evaluates product scope and creates tactical schedules using scheduling systems (MS Project & Primavera P6).
- Works closely with production team to determine the needs and constraints of the manufacturing shop floor, technicians and schedules work accordingly.
- Coordinates interdepartmental activity with Program Management, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Engineering to ensure production and customer specifications are accurate and production schedules are timely.
