Senior Automation Controls Engineer

Blue Origin is looking for a Senior Automation Controls Engineer to support initiatives to improve the reliability and efficiency of manufacturing processes through automation. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience with common automation software development languages and controls and automation software development environments.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with common automation software development languages (ex. Ladder, ST, C/C++)
• 6+ years of experience with controls and automation software development environments (ex. Siemens TIA Portal, Allen Bradley Control Logix)
• 6+ years of experience with 'from scratch' software development used in automated tooling or equipment
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and review electrical and mechanical drawings
• Strong skills for design and process simplification
• Ability to communicate optimally, clearly, and with humility to partners
• Understanding of world-class quality, attention to detail, and dedication
