Senior Data Scientist, People Analytics

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead HR People Analytics initiatives within the Human Resources technology team. The role will involve driving the implementation of time-bound data solutions, applying expertise in data science, natural language processing, and Generative AI to deliver tangible solutions, and collaborating across teams to ensure relevance and impact of work.

Requirements

• 10+ years of proven experience in data science, computer science and/or related technical field
• Programming proficiency in Python, C/C++, or other applicable languages
• 8+ years of experience in a data science or data analytics role post-master's degree
• At least 7 years of direct experience developing and delivering data analytics solutions
• Demonstrated expertise in Generative AI/Natural Language Processing
• Technical master’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong business acumen and technical vision
• Experience working in a consulting model, delivering solutions for clients/internal teams
• Ability to build trust and maintain positive professional relationships
• Strong experimental design and analytical modeling capabilities
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and locations
