Job Description
Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer (IV) to join their Lunar Permanence business unit. The role involves developing avionics components for lunar vehicles and requires strong embedded software design and development skills in C/C++/Rust with Linux scripting experience. The position is part of a passionate and accomplished team of experts working on safe human spaceflight.
Requirements
- BS in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in the field(s) above
- Strong embedded software design and development skills in C/C++/Rust with Linux scripting experience
- Strong debugging skills, using a mix of cross HW/SW techniques and tools
- Strong background in computer architecture, understanding of memory buses, cache, DMA, CPU execution pipelines
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Ability to work well in a team and independently with minimal direction
