Job Description
Blue Origin is seeking a Structural Analyst III/IV to perform structural analyses for space electro-mechanical systems using various analytical methods such as hand calculations and finite element methods with standard industry programs.
Requirements
- Conduct structural analysis on various designs and materials, including composites and metals
- Manipulate large-scale finite element models that support internal loads development
- Interpret analytical results to support testing and design optimization of electro-mechanical systems
- Produce engineering documentations, reports, and manipulate technical data from hardware testing
- Collaborate closely with engineers, manufacturing, and technical management to communicate design issues and develop solutions
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior engineers
- Demonstrate technical leadership in projects, handling highly complex issues and problems
