Job Description
Blue Origin is seeking a Technician - Assembly & Integration to provide hands-on technical support to engineering, production, and manufacturing teams by performing activities such as assembly, integration, testing, modification, and checkout of aerospace systems and hardware. The role requires proficiency using a wide range of manufacturing and diagnostic tools, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to supporting Blue Origin’s mission of safe and reliable spaceflight.
Requirements
- Experience with aerospace manufacturing, integration, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately
- Hands-on experience with assembly and integration of structural, mechanical, fluid, and avionic systems
- Proficient with precision calibration tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers)
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs and working at heights (work stands, ladders, lifts) and/or in confined spaces
- Experience with adhesives, sealants, and fasteners
- Basic proficiency in computer usage, including Windows and Microsoft Office applications
