Job Description
Blue Origin is seeking a Test Engineer III to support the development of Hall thruster-based propulsion systems for the TeraWave satellite communications network. The role will involve designing and constructing test stations, executing testing, and developing test plans. Experience in aerospace testing and electric propulsion system testing is preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in propulsion system development, production, and test
- Working knowledge of electric propulsion principles and test practices
- Experience with test infrastructure, test articles, and testing of propulsion systems or subsystems
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment
