Blue Owl Japan is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Junior Sales Associate or Senior Associate to join its Private Wealth team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in financial services who are eager to deepen client relationships, drive sales growth, and expand their expertise in private markets and alternative investments.
Requirements
- Proactively drive sales activities by developing, maintaining, and deepening relationships with salespeople at existing distributors.
- Conduct high-touch sales outreach via phone, email, and in-person visits to distributor branches across Japan.
- Independently schedule and lead teach-in sessions at distributor branches; frequent domestic travel required.
- Accompany distributor salespeople on visits to prospective investors and provide product expertise.
- Be accountable for sales growth and activity at the branch level, ensuring consistent engagement and follow-up.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Client Solutions, Legal & Compliance, and Product Strategy to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives.
- Build strong product knowledge in private markets and Blue Owl’s offerings to serve as a trusted resource for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay informed on the competitive landscape and evolving trends in Japan’s private wealth and alternative investment sectors.
