Sales Intern

The Sales Intern position at Blue Ridge Risk Partners involves gaining hands-on experience in the insurance industry. The intern will rotate through Service and Sales roles, providing opportunities to learn about insurance sales, servicing, and client relationships. The intern will assist with client updates, proposal preparation, and servicing tasks.

Requirements

• Partner with a Client Relationship Manager to prepare presentations for client renewal discussions
• Work with the Client Services team to identify and update insurance carrier value added services
• Identify and contact potential new clients in need of our unique services and solutions
• Assist in the back-end servicing activities for existing clients including certificate of insurance and auto id card issuance
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to communicate orally and in writing, to explain insurance issues, to receive and interpret complex information, and respond appropriately
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Confident, self-starter who works well independently
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
