Job Description
Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced Biomedical Engineer to manage medical equipment program and ensure safety, functionality, and compliance of medical technology within a healthcare facility.
Requirements
- Develop and implement a comprehensive medical equipment management program
- Create and deliver a curriculum for a continuing education program on safe and effective use of medical technology
- Manage a recall and safety alert program for medical devices
- Lead capital asset and infrastructure planning for medical equipment
- Serve as subject matter expert in biomedical engineering
- Advise clinical and administrative staff on medical technology
- Apply project management principles to deployment of medical equipment and health information technologies
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of medical technology
