Job Description
BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital in Lafayette, CO is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join their talented ER team. The role involves working in a dynamic multi-doctor practice and requires previous experience. The ideal candidate will have patience, respect, and compassion for animals, and be eager to make a difference in their care.
Requirements
- Triage emergency cases as they arrive at the hospital
- Assist the doctor with creating patient treatment plans
- Perform digital radiography using proper technique
- Obtain and interpret blood pressure and other vital signs
- Assist with phlebotomy and intravenous catheters
- Identify patients at risk for arrest and assist with CPR
