Veterinary Technician - Anesthesia

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an Anesthesia Veterinary Technician to assist in patient procedures, monitor anesthesia, and perform physical exams. The position requires knowledge of anesthesia and analgesia protocols and procedures, as well as advanced anesthetic skills including epidurals, difficult airway intubation, and critical case management.

Requirements

• Assist in patient procedures using knowledge of anesthesia and analgesia related protocols and procedures
• Monitor anesthesia, trouble shoot anesthetic complications, and make appropriate interventions
• Perform physical exam; accurately counts heart, pulse rate, capillary refill time, mucous membranes, temperature, respiratory rate and effort
