We are looking for a Veterinary Technician Supervisor with passion and the ability to help motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals. The ideal candidate will be excellent at training and mentoring, have advanced veterinary skills, and possess excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
- Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
- Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
- Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
- Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.
- Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.
