Job Description
The Art Therapist serves to facilitate skills and expressive/art therapy groups and provide care coordination for patients. The role includes developing curriculum, preparing and facilitating daily skills and expressive therapy groups, and educating and supporting staff in understanding and facilitating groups as needed.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy
- Licensed Professional Art Therapist (LPAT) through the Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board OR Registered Art Therapist with Board Certification (ATR-BC)
- Experience with children, adolescents, and families
- Demonstrated clinical experience in chemical dependency treatment
