Job Description
The Service Professional is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality in the cafe, educating guests about the menu and the cafe's culture, and maintaining a friendly environment. The role involves both host/server and barista duties and focuses on high standards of service and product quality. The company values human connection, premium product, and spend through service.
Requirements
- Welcomes the guest with a smile and explains the Bluestone Lane dining experience
- Builds strong connection with guests and makes them feel appreciated
- Deep understanding of the menu
- Service tables with focus on upselling
- Work closely with back of house teammates to ensure accurate order placement
- High standards of coffee/beverage quality
- DOH Accreditation and/or ServSafe Certified (a plus)
