BESS Project Manager, Development

BlueWave is seeking an experienced Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Project Manager to support the development and execution of solar and energy storage projects. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of utility-scale or DG-scale energy storage systems, experience managing complex project schedules, and the ability to translate technical detail into clear development decisions.

Requirements

• Serve as the primary point of contact for storage-related coordination across internal teams, EPCs, OEMs, engineers of record (EORs), utilities, and other external partners
• Lead and coordinate storage system design development, including system architecture, equipment selection, and integration approach (AC-coupled, DC-coupled, standalone)
• Manage and lead all required permitting activities including state, federal, and local approvals for project financing and construction
