Master's Thesis Software Development BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant (f/m/x)

Join our experienced AI development team at the BMW Group and contribute to the development of the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant. You will support the development of intelligent and innovative evaluation systems, design test scenarios, and contribute to close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.

Requirements

• Studies in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computational Linguistics, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Strong programming skills in Python 3 and substantial experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, including libraries like scikit-learn.
• Solid understanding of Large Language Models (transformer-based architectures) and their applications in natural language understanding and generation.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) concepts for managing context and orchestrating communication between AI modules and multi-modal inputs.
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in evaluating AI systems, including designing evaluation frameworks, performance measurement, error analysis, and bias detection.
• Business-fluent English; German language skills are a plus.
