Job Description
BNY is seeking a Controller, Real Estate Funds to join their alternative operations team in New York or Lake Mary, Florida. This role involves managing fund accounting services, financial administration, and process oversight for clients, ensuring compliance and accuracy. It requires collaborative leadership and strategic thinking to impact investment values and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 10+ years of commercial real estate fund accounting and financial statement preparation/review experience
- Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and SEC rules for commercial real estate investment funds
- Leadership experience in a collaborative team environment
- Working knowledge of joint venture waterfall and partnership structures
- REIT experience preferred
