Director, Head of Policy Governance

As a leading global financial services company, BNY is seeking a Director, Head of Policy Governance to join our 1LoD Risk & Controls team. The successful candidate will refine, maintain and futureproof BNY's policy framework and architecture, ensuring the enterprise function sustains operations that are both effective and commercial.

Requirements

• Demonstrated hybrid background across financial services, risk management, technology and/or legal sectors
• Exposure to global markets and regulatory environments with experience integrating strategic and operational perspectives into policy and process design
• Track record of working across cross-functional teams to embed policy and frameworks into business processes in a scalable and sustainable manner
• Applies structured reasoning to ambiguous or rapidly evolving subject matter
• Leads a lean team (~5 FTE) with clarity and purpose to run an enterprise function that builds credibility across diverse stakeholder groups, leveraging strong advocacy skills to influence senior stakeholders across the firm
