Vice President, Infrastructure Engineering

BNY is a leading global financial services company seeking a Vice President of Infrastructure Engineering (Mainframe Systems Software) to join their TSG Mainframe Services team. This role involves expert knowledge in infrastructure design, analytical skills, collaboration, and servant leadership within a highly collaborative and innovative environment. The position is based in Jersey City, New York, Pittsburgh, or Lake Mary, FL.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Advanced certifications in infrastructure engineering or related disciplines (preferred)
• Experience in mainframe discipline (typically 6-10 years)
• Knowledge of mainframe discipline
• ITIL or ITSM oversight (preferred)
• Installation knowledge of ISV SW and IBM Operating systems
• Knowledge of z/OS, PARMLIB, Unix SYSTEMS services, HCD
• Knowledge of SMP/E or maintenance routines (if applicable)
• Knowledge of VTAM, TCPIP, IBM connect Direct, CA session manager, CA spool (if applicable)
• Knowledge in JCL
• Knowledge system IPL processes
• Knowledge of ISPF/TSO
• Framework experience in building and maintaining a mainframe platform (if applicable)
