Job Description
BNY is seeking a VP of Infrastructure Engineering (DB2) to join their TSG Mainframe Services team. The role involves providing guidance on DB2 database administration, application development, and supporting high availability, resiliency, and performance. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within a global financial services environment.
Requirements
- Good interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Technical DB2 Database Administration skills
- Experience with Db2 DBA Utilities
- Proficient in SQL tuning and Performance Problem determination and resolution
- Knowledge of Db2 Database Recovery scenarios
- Knowledge of vendor tools (BMC and Broadcom)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
