Job Description
BNY is seeking a Vice President, System Specialist and App Delivery to join their Paper Payments team in Pune. The role involves designing and developing scalable solutions, owning the lifecycle of core payment systems, and collaborating with engineering, QA, product, and operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- At least 3 years of hands-on software development expertise in C#,.NET Core, and Python, delivering production-ready solutions
- Proven ability to independently architect, build, test, and deploy end-to-end applications with minimal oversight
- Deep knowledge of relational database systems—MS SQL Server and Oracle—including complex SQL query design, stored procedures, indexing strategies, and performance tuning
- Proficient in modern version-control workflows using Git (branching models, pull requests, merge conflict resolution)
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
