Job Description
BNY is seeking a Vice President, Technology Control Management to execute technology controls activities, monitor emerging risks, and recommend remediation approaches. The role will involve identifying trends, analyzing control issues, and supporting Platform adherence to technology policy requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, risk management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant experience in technology risk, technology controls, cybersecurity, infrastructure risk, application risk, or a related governance or control function
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, assess risk, and support practical remediation
- Ability to use AI or automation to improve the monitoring of technology controls
- Ability to translate technical risk into business impact for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to foster collaboration and guide teams
- Demonstrated ownership, attention to detail, and adaptability in a changing technology and risk environment
