Job Summary: Performs duties involving the health, care, and sustenance of animals at a county animal shelter. Responsibilities include animal care, services, and kennel maintenance, as well as interacting with potential adopters and foster caregivers.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or possession of GED Certificate
- One year of experience in animal care in a shelter environment, veterinary clinic, or animal care facility
- Valid Florida Driver License (Class E)
- Florida Animal Control Association (FACA) Euthanasia Certification within the first six months of employment
