Licensed Practical Nurse (Aging Services)

Performs duties involving the healthcare, nutrition, and safety of clients within Head Start and Aging Services. Assists registered nurses with medical care, reviews and monitors medical chart updates, assists with administering medications, and cleans and dresses wounds.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid State of Florida Practical Nurse License
• Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License
• Possession of a valid CPR Certification
• One (1) year of staff supervisory experience in a social services or health care services setting
• One (1) year of experience in providing services to persons who have dementia
