Senior Scientist, Non Clinical Drug Safety

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Senior Scientist to join their Non-Clinical Drug Safety department at their Ridgefield, CT facility. The Senior Scientist will be responsible for performing and managing scientific and technical activities, including outsourcing, study monitoring, planning, coordination, and providing scientific input. They will also design and execute independent research that supports R&D projects.

Requirements

• Ph.D., D.V.M./V.M.D. Degree in Biology, Toxicology, Veterinary medicine or equivalent experience in a related field
• Demonstrates a broad knowledge of field
• Appropriate level of understanding of applicable regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in an inter disciplinary environment
• Willingness to travel for business purposes (up to 20%, mainly domestic)
• Prior experience as a Study Director
• International / global experience
